Patiently Waiting [Rae'$haud]

all my life i had patience

but im getting tired of waiting

talking to God daily

wondering when ima make it

i wanna live large like the majors

so sick of this minor league paper

chasin’ my dreams

full steam ahead

cuz im tryna get a bag

can’t stop by any means 

naysayers won’t suppress my self-esteem

im my own worst enemy 

so i found peace with the inner me

now i elevate alla my energies

higher than the 12th chakra be. 

finding inspiration in the smallest things. 

using the ink in the pen 

to live out all my dreams. 

kundalini rising 

to enlighten minds 

and broaden mental horizons. 

i won’t sprint to switch sides

like the guy from verizon. 

i know sometimes on this journey 

we might forget where we going

but we must keep on rolling 

never looking back to 

where you came from

and rest assure someday soon

a change is gonna come.
